Here is how it works:

Your QR code to your website is replaced with one that takes the prospective client to a free download (via itunes, google-play, etc.) for the of the AR application which downloads and installs, trouble-free, like any other application. Then the "target" (your AR enabled piece) is scanned using this free application and the experience begins!

Here is a brief example of what AR can do for your marketing materials:

Business Cards: your business card can be set up with what is called a marker and a target. This would allow anyone with a smart device (phone or tablet) who has installed the free AR application, to interact with an Augmented Reality experience like nothing, any of your competitors are doing... yet.

This "experience" can be anything from an interactive picture gallery, to a 2d animation of your logo, to a video link on the web, a 3d model animating, including any music or sound effects too!
